Looking anyone up

See where any character stands as of the chapter you’re in: who they’re close to, who they’re against, and what they don’t know yet.

While you write

  1. Hover a name.

Names you’ve added light up in your chapter as you type. Hover one to peek.

  2. Read the card.

It shows who they are and, under As of here, where they stand at this point in the book.

  3. Open their page.

Choose Open page → for everything about them.

In Relationships, choose anyone to see their connections as the story stands at that chapter, and Centre the web here to put them in the middle.

On your phone

  1. Tap a name while you read.

The card shows where they stand at that point in the story.

  2. Or search.

Open Look up and search any character, place or thing. The card shows them as of the last chapter.

What the phone card tells you

On the cardWhat it means
Who they’re tied toEach relationship, and the chapter it began.
Doesn’t knowWhat hasn’t reached them yet: the secrets you marked as hidden from them.
BelievesWhat they believe, marked Not what happened when it isn’t true.

A look-up shows only what you’ve marked. Kronicler never fills in the gaps from your prose.
